Logging visits
Choosing the activities you delivered
The seven activity groups, how they are organised, and what to do when what you did is not listed.
Where to find it
Log a Visit Activity Type & Topics
Activities are grouped into seven blocks. Four hold a list to choose from; three are a single selection each. Select as many as apply, across as many blocks as you like — each block shows a count of what you have selected.
- Sustainable Production
- Topics such as irrigation management, growing media, nutrition, energy efficiency, cropping system design and water management.
- MTSC (Mini Tech Skills Courses)
- The Mini Tech Skills course titles. Each one you select asks for an attendee count.
- Workshops
- Workshop deliveries, kept separate from MTSC because the report counts them separately. Each asks for an attendee count.
- NIASA
- The NIASA crop specifications.
- EcoHort / BioSecure HACCP / Biosecurity preparedness
- One selection each, with nothing beneath them.
What you'll see
A visit can carry several activities from several groups, and the report can tell an MTSC delivery from a workshop delivery because you chose the right block.
Good to know
You cannot type a free-text activity. If what you delivered is not in the list, describe it in Visit Notes, select the closest topic, and ask your administrator to add it — they can do that themselves in minutes, and it appears in your flow immediately.
