What the four figures, the two buttons, Recent visits and Pending Upload on Home are telling you.
Where to find it
GIA Field Home
Home is the first tab and where you start each day. It opens with today's date, a greeting by name, your job title and the reporting period you are working in. Four figures sit under the greeting.
- Visits this period
- How many visits you have logged in the current reporting period.
- Assigned growers
- How many businesses are assigned to you, with the number overdue underneath. A grower counts as overdue once 90 days have passed since the last visit.
- Surveys sent
- How many grower surveys have gone in this period.
- Upcoming this month
- How many visits you have scheduled in the current calendar month.
Beneath the figures are the two things you do most: + Log a Visit for a visit you have just made, and + Plan Visit for one you are scheduling. Under those, Recent visits lists your latest visits, newest first.
- Recent visits shows the grower and the date, and reads "No recent visits" until you have logged one.
- Pending Upload appears only when something is still waiting to go up — each row is a visit or a survey held on the phone.
- Sync all sends everything that is waiting. A single row can be sent on its own, and a row that failed offers Retry.
- The five tabs sit across the bottom on every screen: Home, Visits, Log, Growers and Me.
What you'll see
One screen tells you how you are tracking against the period, how many of your growers are overdue, and whether any work is still sitting on the phone rather than in the platform.
Good to know
An In Progress chip on a Pending Upload row only means that row has not gone up yet — it lives on your phone and disappears once the row syncs. It has nothing to do with the "In Progress" accreditation shown against a grower. There is no photo figure on Home, because the app does not handle photos at all.
